The units are clean and newly carpeted, which I really appreciated! 😍 parking was a nightmare with hardly any spots available. Had to deal with some noise too, not ideal for a good night's sleep.

We found out good rates in the hotel. We only slept at the twin room with a bath, but really enjoyed it. The location was marvellous and lovely, at a medium distance from Botanical Gardens. Btw, the airport was 10 km away...

The room was heaps spacious and clean, but the limited shower pressure was a bummer. At least we didn't pay much and it was comfy enough for our stay.

Little clean hotel and staff was great. An individual and generally comfortable and reasonably priced room on ground level. Awesome experience there.
Wi-Fi was very poor.

Book a room with a kitchenware starter pack included. It's beneficial for family stays or self-catering meals to avoid dining hassles.

Helpful staff even though upgrades going on. convenient location- near bus stops, train station, Westfield, eateries.
I gather renovations are on the way..was a little "rundown" and was only chosen as our first booking was no longer available due to the earthquake and this was found on an internet deal as a very cheap and convenient alternative.

lovely, lovely, lovely
The room I stayed in was a lovely and clean Twin Room, complete with a sufficient supply of coffee and tea. I especially enjoyed the outside seating area. The bed was comfortable!
100% recommend 😊❤️

The Riccarton Village Inn was still a construction site with workmen still in the process of repairs. Tv reception was very poor. This should have been notified in the booking.

It's not a hotel but more of a motel setup!!! The shower mixer is a real pain to operate!!! Perhaps clean the bathroom ceilings more thoroughly, especially to avoid mould!!! The fridge needs replacing. That clicking sound is unbearable!!!

Close to amenities. Room is cleaned everyday. Facilities are good and well-maintained - even it was under renovation when we stayed there.
Internet access at a poor 50mb quota. Seriously, for a week? Hardly used it for few hours and already reached the quota.
